The Florida Constitution does *not* allow citizens to recall our own governor, but it does give the date of Rick Scott’s last full day in office: Monday, January 7, 2019.
There will be PLENTY TO CELEBRATE, no matter who wins the election to replace him, and much to account for, too. Join us for statewide gatherings and remembrances of the people and nature irrevocably harmed by Rick Scott.
Our new governor, who will be chosen by voters on November 6, 2018, will be sworn in on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, which is “the first Tuesday after the first Monday in the January following the election.”
